Social Coffeehouse and Speakeasy

Leonardtown, MD

Social Coffeehouse and Speakeasy is a unique combination of a friendly cafe and a hip speakeasy cocktail bar. The coffeehouse serves up coffee, espresso, and teas from the Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company and donates a portion of the proceeds to an oyster recovery program in the Bay. They offer breakfast and lunch menus that include selections such as avocado toast, casseroles, sandwiches, and salads. If you’re in the mood for a cocktail, simply get the password to go Behind the Bookcase and enter the speakeasy world where you’ll find signature cocktails and upscale bar fare.

St. Inies Coffee

Lexington, MD

If you’re looking for a comfy spot to have a really good cup of coffee, St. Inies is the spot. There are comfortable chairs and couches for your relaxation, an onsite bookstore, and a play area for the little ones. They offer a variety of beans from an assortment of growers that can be prepared for a pour over, French press, or cold brew. If you’re looking for a light bite to go with your coffee, try their pastries, beignets, or frittatas.

Rise Up Coffee Roasters

Easton, MD

Set in an old gas station built in the 1920’s, Rise Up Coffee Roasters offers an amazing array of coffee-based drinks infused with other organic and delicious ingredients. If you’re in the mood to try something new, try their concoctions such as a coconut latte, pumpkin spice latte, or a mocha with lavender. Mad Eggs Food Truck is also onsite to provide you with some unique and fun breakfast and lunch choices such as smothered kimchee tots, a smoked salmon bagel grilled cheese, or a traditional biscuit breakfast sandwich.

The Cove at Cobb Island

Cobb Island, MD

The Cove at Cobb Island is a cozy coffee and wine bar that also offers a menu of fresh pastries, dark chocolates, sorbets, and gelatos, as well as a full menu with items such as a build-your-own breakfast pizza, quiches, wraps, and more. They have a retail market onsite for your grocery needs and offer up community events such as wine and chocolate pairings or paint parties.

The Lobby Coffee Bar and Cafe

Huntingtown, MD

The Lobby is a full service coffee bar and cafe that is a non-profit organization supporting the End Hunger in Calvert County Project and the Honduras Compassion Partners Project. The space is quite large but also cozy and comfortable. The baristas are knowledgeable and the coffee creations are delicious and unique, with drinks such as the Cookies and Cream Crave Espresso. The menu offers large homemade pastries, traditional sandwiches, soups, and salads, as well as many burger and pizza options to choose from, including vegan options.
